Description
Silicon Detector module 840-070600 for Thermo Nexus 470, 670, and 870 models, as well as Nicolet 4700, 6700, and 8700 models. As shown, the Silicon detector extends the spectral range into the visible spectrum when used with a CaF2 beamsplitter and white light source. When used with a Quartz beam splitter and white light source the range can be extended further into the visible region. This detector is highly sensitive, and depending on the application may require a screen attenuators to prevent saturation.
