The USB2000+ Series of Spectrometers from Ocean Optics feature an amazingly small footprint, plug-and-play capabilities and a simplified interface that operates without external power.

Simply plug your USB2000+UV-VIS or VIS-NIR into an available USB port on your computer and you eliminate the need for analog converters.

Your spectrometer comes preconfigured to the 200-850 nm wavelength range for USB2000+UV-VIS or 350-1100 nm for the USB2000+VIS-NIR. Both models include a proprietary multi-bandpass order sorting filter. Our USB2000+UV-VIS also features a UV2 detector coating upgrade.

USB2000+RAD Spectroradiometer for Irradiance Measurements

The USB2000+RAD Spectroradiometer is a preconfigured combination of a powerful 2-MHz analog-to-digital (A/D) converter, programmable electronics, a 2048-element CCD-array detector, a high-speed USB 2.0 port, and cosine corrector. This innovative combination produces our fastest spectrometer yet and provides resolution to 0.35 nm (FWHM). The USB2000+RAD allows users to capture and store a full spectrum into memory every millisecond (that's 1,000 full spectra every second) when the spectrometer is interfaced to a computer via a USB 2.0 port. The USB2000+RAD is perfect for chemical, biochemical and other applications where fast reactions need to be monitored. This spectroradiometer system features a USB2000+ Spectrometer and attached CC-3-DA cosine corrector that does not require in-field NIST-traceable UV/VIS/calibration since it has been precalibrated by Ocean Optics with our SPEC-CAL-UV radiometric calibration service for UV spectrometers. The USB2000+RAD is preconfigured and is ready for measurement “out of the box” so that installation and measurement is fast, accurate and convenient.

USB2000+XR XR-Series Miniature Fiber Optics Spectrometers

The XR-Series of Extended Range Spectrometers from Ocean Optics are responsive across a wide spectral range, providing you an optical resolution of ~2.0 nm (FWHM) and the convenience of a single, monolithic spectrometer to cover all wavelengths from ~200-1050 nm. The XR Option is now available for our USB2000+, Jaz-EL200 and USB4000 Spectrometers and in custom systems. The ability to provide UV-NIR coverage in a single miniature spectrometer has always been a challenge and daisy-chaining multiple USB spectrometers is not always practical or convenient.

Enter the XR-Series. Thanks to its new 500 lines/mm groove density grating, we can now offer our flagship spectrometers with broader spectral coverage and good optical resolution. This grating delivers 850 nm of spectral range and is blazed at 250 nm. Because their optical bench designs are not affected, the USB2000+, Jaz-EL200 and USB4000 experience no trade-off in performance with the new grating.
